Our latest company reflection highlighted July as minority mental health awareness month. It was created in 2008 to raise awareness about the disparities in mental health care among minority groups who are less likely to have access to mental health services, less likely to use community mental health services, and more likely to use emergency departments as well as receive lower quality care.

Here is a list of things you can do to promote mental wellness on a daily basis from Bustle.com.

1. Exercise

2. Socialize

3. Express Gratitude

4. Spend Time Outside

5. Meditate

6. Do Something Nice

7. Have A Good Laugh

8. Sit Up Straight

9. Get Adequate Sleep

10. Learn Something New

Some of these suggestions may not work for everyone and incorporating these into your routine isn't always easy. Hopefully, this brief outline will encourage you to find your own routines and be motivated to pick up other healthy habits as well.
